Group Blog

Hi bloggers!
I am back with another blog, and this time it's to talk about who I'm going to work with for the Final task.
When deciding on who to work with for this project, I reflected on past assignments.
In the last media studies task (the music video) I worked in a group of 4.
I had worked with my friends.
And though I enjoyed spending time with them, I realized that working together for school wasn't the best route.
In the end everything came out sufficient and adequate, but the process of getting everything together was quite stressful.
On account of all of our conflicting schedules and strong opinions, there was sometimes mishaps.
Of course, in all situations there are ups and downs, but I decided to go down a simpler route for this task.

Although I didn't want to work in my past group for the final task, I also didn't want to work alone.
Previewing the assignments attached to this final task, I have realized it will take a lot of time and effort to get done.
There are many parts, a lot of research to be done, and just much energy needed to be devoted to it.
And on top of this specific project and all of its parts, I still have all of my other classes to be concerned about.
With the Aice program and just all of my difficult classes, I have a lot of homework to do.
Not only do I have to do much homework, I often have to be reviewing and studying.
So based on these factors, I decided it would be best to work with a partner.
My partner is someone is someone I am quite close to and also cordial with.
Having someone who I can share the workload with is one main reason I decided to go this route when choosing my "group".
At the end of the day, I very likely could've handled the whole project on my own.
When necessary, I am very responsible and am able to manage my time in a great manner.
But, I didn't think this was necessary when there were many different options that would leave me less stressed.
I am excited to work with my partner Dony Thervil and I am also excited to see how this project ends up.
