Hi bloggers! I am back again with a new blog. This time it is to talk about the editing journey I went on to assemble my group's video. My group and I decided it would be smartest to put me as editor. Though it isn't going to be a blockbuster movie, I still wanted to put a lot of effort into it. Because not only would I be affected, but so would my peers/friends. This pushed me to put even more effort than I would on a regular project. And though it was a little stressful, it was enjoyable. It was enjoyable because it was fun looking over the clips and also because I enjoy editing as a whole. But before I could edit, I had to transfer the clips. The videos were shot on a phone that wasn't mine. First, I sent the videos from the recording phone to mine. This took a while because it was a lot of clips. Then, I also sent them to my laptop. My laptop is not my source of editing, but I still sent them as a backup plan. My laptop is a "backup plan" because I'll use

  Hi bloggers! I’m back again, and if you remember, i promised you something in the last blog. I said I would continue to talk about the recording process , and that’s what i’ll do. So to continue , after I did my first solo shot my group got to move on to the next member/character. As the others did their shots I observed and tried to not interrupt. I stayed quiet and didn’t talk when recording. I also gave advice when i thought necessary. For example I gave advice on which way some people should face. I also gave advice on what species phrases they should say. When it came to group scenes, we had someone record us all. When it came to group scenes they took a lot of time. Any time I looked at a group member I my Iost focus. I would laugh or forget what i had to say. Once I finished my scene, i helped clean up. I picked up trash and threw them away. I also took my blanket and took care of it. I had to wipe trash off of it before bringing it to the car. I also had to fold it up nicely.

Hi bloggers! I’m back with another blog, and this time it’s to talk about the filming process for the Music Video. To record my group decided to meet up at a park. But before leaving to head to the park I made sure I had the supplies I said I was going to bring. I brought the blanket that we sat on to record on. I made sure it was big enough to actually work for the scenes. After making sure I had the supplies, I checked over my outfit to make sure it fit with the “vibe”.  My group decided fall was the theme and that’s why I went with white and cream clothing. I feel like these colors coordinate with fall and calmness. Once at the park, I walked around with my group for a while. I wanted to walk until a spot that had nice (enough) scenery was found.  My group agreed with my idea and this pushed us to search for a desirable area. The first spot that was found had too little grass and unwanted stuff in the background. I advised my group on moving past it to a better spot, and we did. Onc

Hi bloggers! I am back with another blog, and this time it is to continue to talk about the preparation process for the Music Video. My main job with this project is to edit everything together. But I was also tasked with bringing some supplies necessary for the film.  For the film, we need a blanket. When the time comes, I will make sure I have it. There may be more than 1 blanket brought by other members.  This is in case any mess is made before an acceptable final product is shot.   The one I bring will be for "backup". I will also be bringing some food. I have made preparations to ensure we have enough food to make the video successful.  To prepare, I also found videos to "inspire" my actions.  For the start of the video, a "calm" and "relaxed" vibe is wanted. I am back with another blog, and this time it is to talk about how I chose what the editing process would be like for this project.  After reviewing what each member was the best at, I noted that I would be the most helpful if I took care of editing and revising the final project. My group decided I was in charge of compiling the clips and editing them together. This is on account of my compact skills when it comes to video editing. It is also on account of my liking for editing and things like that. Things like the All About Me commercial, my own TikTok videos, and miscellaneous projects are things I've worked on. With this experience, I have harbored more and more skills when it comes to video creation. Although these dexterities aren't perfect, they are enough to provide an acceptable final Music Video.   Props: The props included in our video will include blankets, food, a phone, and more common objects. Location: The location for filming our music video will be the Holiday Park in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Schedule: Our filming will take place on the 14th-15th of October from 1-3pm both days. Backup Plan:  In the case we are unable to film from the 14th-15th due to any emergency, we will film from the 28th to the 29th of October. In the case we are not allowed to film at Holiday Park, we will choose to film at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Costuming: The costuming that we will be wearing in our music video will consist of typical fall clothing, considering our video is autumn-themed and based on an autumn aesthetic.

  Hi bloggers! It’s time for a new project, except this time it’ll be with my crew ! To make a commercial seems very exciting and entertaining.  But it also seems kind of stressful and time consuming. That’s why I thought it would be best to do this fun activity with my friends. I’m working with my friends Camila, Katherine, and Aryanna. I have known Camila since elementary and Katherine and Aryanna since middle school. This is why I trust that my grade and outcome of the commercial will come out nice. I have known them for a very long time and know that their strive for success is just as deep as mine. Undoubtedly there will be tough spots.  But on account of our communication skills , I know we’ll be able to get through them. Usually I like to work by myself . This is because I can work at my own pace and be flexible with my own schedule. But I also thought about the fact that this isn’t something that happens all the time.
