Hi bloggers! I'm back, and this time it is to give a reflection of what the project was like and what I learned from this experience. This project allowed me to do things I had never done before. Although it was a little challenging at times it gave me new knowledge of technologies like YouTube and Blogger. Before this project, I had never used YouTube as an app to upload things. I have always simply been a viewer and enjoyer of content. But through this project, I have learned the steps to follow to successfully upload something into YouTube. I learned about having to first have the video downloaded on my device to be able to put it into YouTube. I also learned that if a video is under 60 seconds it’ll be a YouTube short and not an actual video. Blogger was a technology I had never used before this project. Before this, I had never even heard of the app. So because of this assignment, I learned how to navigate through it and do things like make an account, make posts, edit posts,

This is the final result of my All About Me commercial! I had a great time putting all of this together and I'm in awe with how it came out.

Hi bloggers! I'm back, and this time it's to talk about the software I used to actually edit and put together my project. I used the apps TikTok and Capcut for this part. They're both free apps so that was one of the main reasons I used them. On top of them being free, they're apps I've used plenty of times. Using them so many times, I was comfortable working with them. I've been using Capcut for many years now.  At first, it was just for silly collages and things similar to that. For example, meaningless edits of photos or videos. But then I had the task to use it in a 'professional' manner. So because of this project, I've used Capcut with an actual goal. And with Tiktok I have been using it since I was a young child. So I know all the ins and outs of how to use it. On this app, I know how to edit, clip, crop, cut out, zoom, and a lot of other things. I used TikTok specifically to find the videos I liked the most. And once I found them I would edit

 Hi bloggers! I will now talk about what picking out the pictures and videos for this commercial was like. I am a person who takes more videos than photos so it was easier for me to find that form of media. With all these videos at hand, I had a lot to choose from so this made the process not too stressful.  Even though it wasn't stressful to find  videos, it was a little pressing to select the "perfect" ones for the commercial.  I am a very picky person and this will cause me to go back many times when things are slightly off. So when I thought I had the "right" video(s) for the project, tiny things would make me go back on my choice. Minuscule things that caught my attention - in an unfavorable manner- like an unflattering pose or expression, would ruin the entirety of the video. Hi bloggers! I wanted to continue elaborating on my process to get the clips and music for my commercial. Music is something that means a lot to me, I have always carried a deep adoration for it. I pay attention to all the little parts of music, the instruments, the background vocals, the lyrics, just everything that makes a song. I take time to try and understand what the writer of the song was trying to insinuate through the song. And even if I were to not be going through those specific situations, I think songs can be interpreted and applied personally. So that's what I do, I think about my life and what I've gone through and how the lyrics could apply to me. This allows me to enjoy music on a personal level. Songs are something that can explain what I am feeling/thinking when I can't put it into words. This is why I took a lot of time choosing which few songs I would incorporate into the commercial. The production process for my All About Me commercial was slightly time-consuming, but this is because I like things to go smoothly.  When watching videos and edits, I dislike seeing rough and unpolished transitions and things of that sort.  So I took my time when adding the specific clips together in an attempt to make my project the best it could be (with my novice skill level in consideration). I am not the best editor or compilation creator, so my project is not 100% perfect. Still, as I stated previously, I put my best efforts towards it. To put this project together I first picked out all the clips of media I wanted to use in one folder so it would be easy to access them all at once. Then I went to inspect the clips I chose to make sure they all had the same vibe and would go with the songs I chose as well. If any of the videos or photos didn’t have the same ambience as the majority then I would go back to my camera roll and choose one that did. As I mentioned in my

  Hi bloggers! The process of picking out the pieces of media for this project was relatively undemanding for me. Though tedious, overall, it was a simple procedure that I actually enjoyed having to go through. To find the photos and videos I wanted to use, I went through my camera roll, Snapchat memories, and TikTok drafts. I have many photos and videos that I love of myself in these apps, so having to look for specific things throughout an entire array of them takes a while. Not only do I have a lot that I like, but I also wanted to pick out ones that had similar vibes to them, so that added to the time span of choosing them. Most of my choices were found in my regular camera roll, this is because I do not use filters too often so the regular camera is usually fine. The photos I chose have lighting that isn’t too bright or dark and enhances my features.
