Editing Blog: putting things in place
Hi bloggers!
Now that filming was done, it was time for me (and my partner) to get to editing the film.
Previous to the editing, it was cool to see all the separate clips.
Taking time to cut them and make them smooth was very satisfying as well.
Seeing the final product really amazed me, but it took time and effort before this came.
The app that my partner and I will use to put my final task together is Capcut.
Both of us have previously used CapCut for both our own work and our own enjoyment.
Both of us already have an existing account, so there's no need to sign up.
It is easy for me to get started.
For my last project, I was provided the editor role.
Because of this, I had a CapCut account ready for use.
Not only was it already ready for me to use, I was quite familiar with it.
We had to cut my scenes to the right length as soon as we started.
There were a few scenes that were too long.
Some of the other scenes had a few seconds of us acting out of character.
I needed to take a little extra time to finish the task.
After trimming the extra seconds, we assembled my scenes.
Our final task was this one.
Organizing the various scenes was a snap.
After getting all my scenes in order, I focused on transitions.
My transitions were not flashy.
They were simple and clean when I made them.
After getting all this prepared, I was nearing my final task.
The song is being put into my video.
We used a royalty-free song from the internet.
The title was also needed.
We made some changes to the font so it could be connected to our genre.
