Decisions!
Hi bloggers!
I am back with another blog, and this time it is to talk about how I chose what the editing process would be like for this project.
After reviewing what each member was the best at, I noted that I would be the most helpful if I took care of editing and revising the final project.
My group decided I was in charge of compiling the clips and editing them together.
This is on account of my compact skills when it comes to video editing.
It is also on account of my liking for editing and things like that.
Things like the All About Me commercial, my own TikTok videos, and miscellaneous projects are things I've worked on.
With this experience, I have harbored more and more skills when it comes to video creation.
Although these dexterities aren't perfect, they are enough to provide an acceptable final Music Video.
I have come to learn I work best when I use apps I am familiar with.
The apps that fit this criteria and therefore were chosen as the editing apps for this assignment are TIKTOK and (mainly) Capcut.
TikTok is an app I'm comfortable with using for this assignment.
This is because I am on it daily.
Being on it all the time allows my knowledge of it and its features to continuously expand.
I like incorporating TikTok when editing videos because of all of the music/sounds on it.
TikTok is a music app; it provides many versions of songs so it gives a wide variety to choose from.
The reason why I feel Capcut is the software best fit for this project is because of how easy it is to navigate.
I have used Capcut numerous times and each time it gets easier.
Putting all of our video clips into Capcut and then cropping, chopping, etc. will be simple and give a pretty outcome at the end.
On top of being easy to work on, Capcut has admirable transitions and multifarious fonts (shapes, colors, and sizes).
All of these features on one app made Capcut the perfect app for me to choose when deciding which app I would use to edit everything together.
